This site is intended to be a resource for art educators interested in incorporating photography into their curriculum.  All feedback is welcome!

This is a sample online critique.  When you view an image, you should note your initial reaction to the photograph.  Then, examine the photograph and post your comments about important elements such as composition, color, value, and the background. Finally, write your own interpretation and/or feelings about the photograph.  What does the image communicate to you? Remember to read the comments from your peers and add something new to the discussion.  Do not simply repeat what has already been said. (click image for larger view)

Feel free to practice your first critique with this image.  I will be happy to let you know how you are doing.  As we begin new art projects, I will post images from the artists that we study as well as student created art.  Get ready to have fun thinking and writing about art!
